I’m just gonna put this blatantly don’t if you’re younger and going to shop here don’t expect a good customer service experience. Overall you just won’t get good customer service unless you’re an older lady. I walked up to the counter and rightfully so I did accidentally skip an older lady and her son, but the way I was snapped at by the lady working the counter was in my mind rude. I personally don’t think it was obvious as the older lady was pushed back in her wheelchair so how was I supposed to know that they were in line. After I was rudely told by the cashier that she was working with them I then stepped back and waited. Mind you I had one item to return. So after waiting about 10 minutes for the elderly lady to write her check I walked up to give the cashier my item. No hi how are you and no what can I do for you. I stated that I wanted to return the item in my hands and as I began to hand over the receipt she rudely states “I need the receipt”. Now I don’t want to assume that because I’m younger she was being rude but I don’t know as prior she kept complimenting the elderly lady stating to the son to “cherish her” and saying “god love ya” to the woman. But come on, I had the

They got rid of the shopping carts with leg holes for kids!! I'll longer shop at this store. Do they not realize how difficult they made it to shop, and carry items, and hold/carry your young child/ren? I'm talking 1- 2year olds, not school age kids. They sell children/kids clothes but make it extremely difficult to even consider venturing in the store now.

The other day was the first time I went to Boscov’s in Altoona because I was shopping for a gift for my mom for Mother’s Day. The store was very busy with so many people it made me feel so overwhelmed. I stopped to ask an associate to help and she said “I am busy “ and ignored my request. A few moments later another associate was coming out of the fitting room with a pile of clothes and said “is there anything I can help you with” although she was also busy she proceeded to put the clothes down and help me immediately. I believe her name was April (that’s what her name tag said) She helped me pick out 2 very nice outfits that I know is going to be a great gift for Mother’s Day. She made my experience at your store for the first time go from feeling overwhelmed and ignored to feeling valued and proactively assisted. There needs to be more associates like her because she is the definition of what makes a great customer service representative
